Suitable for both beginners and experienced participants, riverboarding combines the thrill of white water with a fun and active outdoor experience. Located in the centre of Chamonix, our white-water base offers changing rooms and hot showers for your comfort. All technical equipment is provided.

The Compagnie des Guides rafting base is located at:393 Promenade du Fori - 74400 Chamonix-Mont-Blanc. The base is situated behind the Chamonix swimming pool, close to the tennis courts. A public car park is available approximately 150 metres away on the opposite side of the Arve River, with access via the Promenade des Sonnailles footbridge

Duration
Approximately 45 minutes on the river. Please allow around 2 hours in total for the activity, including equipment fitting, briefing, transport and the descent

Requirements
This activity is suitable for beginners. Participation requirements:
✅ Minimum age: 15 years old
✅ Maximum weight: 120 kg
✅ Ability to swim 25 metres
✅ Ability to float on your back and keep your head above water for 5 seconds
✅ Ability to go under a floating obstacle and jump into the water

The entire staff team are phenomenal; Claire was an expert rafting guide whose energy, teaching and charisma made the entire experience a memory to treasure. The man who checked me in was a legend, fitting me in on the day last minute, helped charge my phone and they went above and beyond to drop me at the bus stop so I wouldn’t miss my flight. 10/10 experience and felt like a local vibe. A huge thank you to all!
