Online booking mandatory for accessing the Bérard ice fall

The Bérard ice fall is a man-made site that requires significant development and maintenance work. A number of people also work throughout the winter to ensure ice production.

A fee of 5€ per person is requested to access this unique site 

Use of the site is solely and entirely your responsibility. Gear and ice climbing experience required

Booking: online only. 30 people maximum at the same time

Routes: Ten routes on the right side of the Bérard river underneath the Bérard waterfall. Top-ropes accessible from above. 


Acces: Train station "Le Buet", 15' walking. Download timetables 
 
EQUIPMENTFind all the information about gear and safety

Rope: The use of a 80m rope is mandatory

Belays: Use only the fixed belays

Responsibility: Use of the site is solely and entirely your responsibility
